Shibari

Shibari is a form of Japanese rope bondage that encourages the act of letting go, allowing space to submit and surrender with a deep sense of safety and trust. This ancient art form invites practitioners to step into the unknown, embracing the discomfort and uncertainty that often accompanies vulnerability. As you surrender to the rope, you begin to release the need for control and perfection, allowing yourself to be held and supported by the gentle yet firm touch of the rope. This surrender is not about losing yourself, but about finding a deeper sense of self, one that is grounded in trust, safety, and the knowledge that you are being held. In this space, you may find comfort in the unfamiliar, and discover that the uncomfortable situations that once felt daunting can become opportunities for growth and transformation. Shibari is not just a physical practice, but a metaphor for life itself – a reminder that we must learn to let go, to submit, and to trust in order to find true freedom and connection.

Embracing Restrictions with Angelica

In my latest photoshoot, I had the pleasure of working with a Angelica Rivera who was new to Shabari, a captivating and restrictive style that creates a unique and safe setting. Our model, embodying a vibrant spirit, embraced the experience and allowed her natural creativity to shine.

Throughout the session, I was struck by the model's connection to nature. As she enjoys to spend her free time outdoors, grounding herself and finding inspiration in the world around her. This connection translated seamlessly into our photoshoot, as we explored the retro-styled space we were in. The setting sparked great ideas and allowed us to create a series of captivating images.

Although the model's radiant smile didn't make it into the final photos, her warm and welcoming presence was evident throughout the session. She was open to guidance, and her ability to go with the flow led to a smooth and enjoyable experience for both of us.

In this Shabari photoshoot, we discovered the beauty of restrictions within a safe environment. The model's lively spirit and connection to nature resulted in a unique and memorable session, leaving us both excited for future collaborations.

Shibari Photoshoot with Menen: Embracing Vulnerability and Trust

As a photographer, I've had the privilege of working with numerous models, but my recent collaboration with Menen was truly unforgettable. Shibari a form of Japanese rope bondage that explores the boundaries of submission and surrender. What struck me most about Menen was her ability to embody the essence of Shibari – a sense of comfort and trust in the midst of vulnerability.

Our conversations during the shoot were just as insightful as the images we captured. We delved into the idea of submission, not just as a physical act, but as a metaphor for embracing life's challenges and growth opportunities. Menen's presence was a reminder that safety and trust can be found in the most unexpected places, allowing us to be vulnerable and restricted in ways that ultimately lead to comfort and self-discovery.

Despite the time constraints, our photoshoot was an absolute delight. We played with the natural light throughout the space, experimenting with different angles and compositions that highlighted the beauty of Shibari. The result was a collection of images that not only showcased Menen's stunning presence but also captured the essence of our conversation – the intersection of vulnerability, trust, and growth.
