About me

My name is Gervonte Franklin, and I am a self-taught photographer based in Atlanta, Georgia. My work is driven by a lifelong personal journey into mindfulness—a daily practice that informs both my life and my art.

Outside of the studio, I spend my days as an art handler, a role I have held for five years, where I have learned the quiet discipline of caring for art. I am also a yoga instructor of three years, a practice that has deepened my understanding of intentional movement and breath. These two worlds converge in my photography. I shoot in black and white digital to capture the essence of the now, aiming to create timeless images that invite the viewer to put down their phone, stop checking the clock, and simply be.

Through my lens, I explore the stillness between movements, offering a gentle reminder to breathe and remember: I am alive in this moment.
